Recovery Group

A 6-week online support and psychoeducation group for people recovering from narcissistic, emotionally abusive or controlling relationships.

Narcissistic Abuse Recovery Group

A 6-week online support and psychoeducation group for people currently in, or recovering from, narcissistic, emotionally abusive or controlling relationships.

These relationships can leave you feeling confused, anxious, guilty, isolated and unsure of yourself. You may find yourself replaying conversations, questioning your judgement, struggling to detach, or feeling pulled back towards someone who has hurt you.

This group offers a safe, structured and supportive space to begin making sense of what has happened.

Alongside shared reflection and group support, we will explore the patterns often found in emotionally abusive relationships, including love-bombing, gaslighting, trauma bonds, attachment patterns, intermittent reinforcement, boundaries, self-doubt and rebuilding your identity after emotional harm.

Group support can be powerful because it helps reduce the shame and isolation that often come with these experiences. Hearing others describe similar thoughts, feelings and patterns can help you feel less alone, more validated, and more able to trust your own reality again.

One-to-one therapy gives you space to focus fully on your own story. Group support offers something different: connection, shared understanding and the experience of being heard by others who truly understand the emotional pull, confusion and impact of these relationships.

This group is not about judgement, diagnosis or blame. It is about understanding, recovery and beginning to reconnect with yourself.

You are encouraged to take part in a way that feels manageable to you

The full 6-week programme costs £240, paid in advance before the group begins.

Each weekly session is 90 minutes, which works out at £40 per session.

The programme is paid as a full 6-week block because this is a small, closed group with limited places.

Sessions are held online via secure Zoom.

You will need a private space where you cannot be overheard, a stable internet connection and a working camera.

Yes. Confidentiality is an important part of creating a safe group space.

All group members are expected to respect the privacy of others and not share personal information or stories outside of the group.

There are some limits to confidentiality, such as if there is a serious concern about risk of harm to you, someone else, or a safeguarding concern. This will be explained clearly before the group begins.

Is this therapy?

The group includes therapeutic support, shared reflection and psychoeducation, but it is not the same as individual counselling.

Some people may choose to attend the group alongside one-to-one therapy, while others may use it as a first step towards understanding their experiences.
